Belgium is facing its 4th consecutive day of cyberattacks. After official websites of municipalities and provinces, banking and federal websites have been hit by DDoS attacks.
The Russian and pro-Russian collective NoName057 continues to want to flood Belgium with denials of service to official sites. This time, it was the site of FPS Economy (dependent on the Federal Ministry of Economy) that was affected. But after 30 minutes, it was put back into service. On the other hand, the site of the banking service federation, Febelfin, is still out of service this Thursday morning around 10am. The Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB) reminds us that even if these requests paralyze the sites, they are not dangerous for data security.
