A 7-year-old boy died after consuming chocolate and showing signs of intoxication, according to the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The minor was identified as Ythallo Raphael Tobias Rosa, 7 years old.
Following the death of the minor, the Civil Police are reviewing security camera images in search of a woman who, according to reports, was giving poisoned sweets to children.

According to testimonies from family members, the suspect approached on a motorcycle and offered the candy while the children were playing in the street.
Although the motive behind this act remains unclear, the main line of investigation suggests deliberate poisoning.
Forensic experts examining the body found “brown granular particles” in the trachea and stomach.
Meanwhile, another six-year-old boy who ate the same sweets remains in critical condition.
“The symptoms were very similar in both of them. They both vomited and fainted,” said the father of the affected child, Benjamin.
Benjamin’s grandmother said that when the little boy arrived home, he showed signs of disorientation and was “drooling a little.”
However, when he was taken to the hospital, his condition deteriorated rapidly and he was “turning blue ,” according to the Todo Noticias report.
Authorities continue to work on the investigation, hoping to obtain clues that will lead to the identification of the woman responsible for this terrifying act.
