Alarm in Ukraine after Trump cuts off international aid
The United States’ decision to freeze all international aid for 90 days is worrying the Ukrainian authorities.
By executive order, President Donald Trump has decided to block all international aid for a re-evaluation and selection of what helps the United States.
A decision that handicaps many support programs for education, medicine, agriculture and other sectors that have suffered the consequences of the Russian invasion.
The US development aid agency USAID told Ukrainian state television on Monday that all its projects in Ukraine had stopped receiving funding following US President Donald Trump’s decision to halt the flow of humanitarian aid to all countries except Egypt and Israel.
Multiple Ukrainian organizations have confirmed that their US funding has been suspended.
