According to the US deputy ambassador to the United Nations, Robert Wood, 8,000 North Korean soldiers are already in the Russian Kursk region at the moment. He stated this to the UN Security Council on Thursday.

Wood had a question for his Russian counterpart in the Security Council: ‘Does Russia maintain that there are no North Korean troops in Russia?’

The Russian representative did not respond: so far, Russia has neither formally confirmed nor denied the presence of North Korean troops.
