An old school in Tela, Atlántida, northern Honduras , was the scene of chilling stories that have been passed down from generation to generation, marked by encounters with the inexplicable.
Founded decades ago by a dedicated educator, the institute, whose name was not revealed, is a key piece of education in the area, but also holds stories that have puzzled those who know it closely.
One of the most striking stories was shared by a woman who grew up in that environment. As a child, while spending long hours in the school office with the secretary and other employees, they would hear someone calling their names: “Silvia,” “Rosario.”
“We thought someone was playing around, but we never saw who it was. Years later, my father told me that people used to be scared at school. He himself had terrifying experiences while working late,” he said.
The narrator’s father, who frequently stayed overnight at the school during the institute’s early days, also experienced shocking moments.
The Dirty One?
One night, hearing noises coming from the gym, she decided to investigate. “I saw a woman dressed in white who had no feet. It was an indescribable fear, I ran out and didn’t stop until I got home,” she recalled.
Years later, another experience marked him again. While in the building, he saw a female figure descending the stairs , but this time he chose to lock himself away and pray, avoiding any confrontation with what he described as a “disturbing presence.”
The paranormal stories at this school are known by many of the workers and visitors, who claim that the place has a special energy. Despite these stories, educational activities continue as normal, while the school remains a renowned institution in Tela.
