Who is Begona Gomez?
María Begoña Gómez Fernández was born on January 29, 1975, and is a Spanish marketer and consultant who has gained public prominence since April 2024, due to a judicial investigation and the associated political controversy.
She is the wife of the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez. She was born in Bilbao, and at a young age she moved with her family to the municipality of Leonés de Valderas. She later moved to Madrid and obtained a degree in marketing. Initially, many media outlets accepted her CV.
His resume stated that he earned a bachelor’s degree from the Escuela Superior de Ingenieros Comerciales (School of Commercial Engineers); however, an investigation by a local newspaper in 2018 confirmed that the degree was actually awarded by the M&B Escuela Superior de Marketing y Negocios (M&B School of Marketing and Business).
