Bello Turji Seeks Spiritual Help to Avoid Capture by Nigerian Troops
Notorious bandit leader Bello Turji has reportedly turned to spiritual leaders, often referred to as prayer warriors, to help him evade capture by Nigerian troops involved in Operation Fansan Yanma.
Sources claim Turji has long relied on these clerics, who are said to come from Niger Republic and Maiduguri, for spiritual guidance before launching attacks.
These spiritual leaders reportedly advise him on when to carry out operations and how to avoid military offensives.
βItβs a common practice for Turji to consult these clerics before his missions. They guide him on which attacks are likely to succeed and suggest strategies to outmaneuver security forces,β a security official revealed.
As the military intensifies efforts to capture Turji, he is believed to be leaning heavily on this network of spiritual advisors to protect him and his operations in Zamfara, Sokoto, and nearby states.
