A new era of the Champions League has arrived
Big changes are coming to the Champions League this season, with the old group stage gone and a new 36-team League Phase taking its place.
Real Madrid are defending champions and they will be joined in the hat by the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal and all the usual suspects.
There are a few other teams who may not be as familiar with this stage in recent years, including Aston Villa – who actually won the European Cup in 1982 – Bologna, Celtic and Girona.
The draw will take place today at 5pm BST (12 noon ET), so stick with GOAL and we will bring you everything you need to know.
