Social media users are sharing a video of well-known Nigerian singer Burna Boy’s response after losing four Grammy nominations in one evening.
Remember The 66th Grammy Awards were hosted on Friday, February 4th at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, according to Naijaphobia .
Burna Boy, as well as fellow Nigerian artists Davido, Tems, Ayra Starr, Asake, and Olamide, who were nominated, did not win a single prize.
Burna Boy bagged four nominations for ‘Sitting On Top of the World’ (Best Melodic Rap).
‘I Told Them’ (Best Global Music Album), ‘Alone’ (Best Global Music Performance) and ‘City Boys’ (Best African Music Performance).
Even though Burna Boy is a Grammy Award winner as he won the Best Global Music Album at the 2021 GRAMMY Awards, the video that surfaced online shows that he was shocked not to win any of his recent four nominations.
This means that out of 12 Grammy Awards nominations he has received, the “Last Last” crooner managed to win only one.
While with his guys in a latest trending clip of the singer, Burna Boy uttered that it looks like a dream to him as he does not seem like a real-life to him anymore even though he performs at the Grammy Awards.
