WHAT HAPPENED?

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The gathering came just two days after United’s goalless draw with Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday. The result left United without a win in five matches in all competitions and their disappointing results have resulted in more calls for coach Ten Hag to be sacked.

    DID YOU KNOW?

The meeting did not result in any major decisions being made, according to the report, including one on Ten Hag’s future. However, they could still opt to part ways with the Dutchman in the coming days amid United’s worst ever start to a Premier League campaign, which comes immediately following the team’s worst ever finish to one – having ended up eighth in the table in 2023/24.

    WHAT NEXT FOR MAN UTD?

Ten Hag will hope Ratcliffe and co opt to give him more time at the helm of the Red Devils despite their upsetting results. The ex-Ajax boss is in need of three points from their match against Brentford at Old Trafford on October 19.
