In a unique way, Honduran couple Daniel Esponda, the secretary of education, and Erika Urtecho, a deputy in the Liberal Party, celebrated their first wedding anniversary by posting a romantic TikTok video that captured many special and intimate moments of their union.
“I love you. It’s that simple. It’s always been that way. Happy 1st anniversary my love!” Erika wrote in the post, which attracted her followers’ attention right away and got hundreds of congrats.
In a clip from their wedding that opens the tearful video, Esponda says, “Your mother did not know that I was going to marry the little girl of my heart,” in between tears of emotion and laughter.
The video then cuts to a number of clips that capture the most important events in their relationship, such as their religious wedding, romantic dinners, beach outings, snowy moments, and travels to various places.
Along with the love that binds the couple, the video also shows their experiences and complicity during their first year of marriage.
In December 2023, Erika and Daniel celebrated their religious wedding in Tela Bay, Atlántida. It was a memorable occasion where they bonded their love of life.
