For Ukraine, North Korean soldiers can’t be underestimated
According to Kiev, 12,000 North Korean troops have been sent to this region bordering Ukraine, including “around 500 officers”.
So far, neither Pyongyang nor Moscow have confirmed the presence of these troops in Russia.
According to the Ukrainian military intelligence official, the North Korean soldiers have no modern combat experience, using “more primitive tactics from the Second World War or the post-Second World War era”. He adds: “But they’re also learning. And we can’t underestimate the enemy. And we can see that they’re already taking certain things into account in their activities.”
