Four Bodies Found In La Cañada Garbage Dump In The Capital
According to preliminary information, the bodies had been shot. Further details of what happened are not yet known.
On Monday evening, it was reported that four bodies had been found abandoned in a garbage dump in the village of La Cañada, in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras.
Members of the Police Investigations Department (DPI) arrived at the site, which functions as a dumping ground for construction materials, and confirmed the information.
Members of the Fire Department also arrived to remove the bodies, as they were in a hollow.
According to preliminary information, the bodies had been shot. The identities of these people are currently unknown, but it is known that one of the bodies was that of a minor.
The vehicle in which the victims were traveling was found at the scene, according to authorities.
One of the deceased was an employee of the 911 emergency system, police said. In addition, two of the deceased were identified as Jean Carlos Oyuela, and another only as Kevin.
