On Friday, the German Foreign Ministry stated that Pyongyang’s support for Moscow would represent a “clear escalation” of the conflict with Ukraine.
“Whether it’s the delivery,” of military equipment or the “possible use of personnel,” escalation would be inevitable. Kathrin Deschauer, a spokesperson for the ministry, stated that North Korea mustn’t contribute to the war in Ukraine and “refrain from doing anything in this direction”.
