A young Honduran man decided to prioritize a holiday in Omoa , Cortés , with friends instead of paying off his debts, leaving a woman, whom he only named as ‘Mrs. Licha’, owner of a local grocery store , affected.
The young man, whose identity he preferred not to reveal, explained in an interview with TSi’s Noticieros Hoy Mismo , broadcast by journalist Yeison Maldonado, that he has no money and that his friends paid for his trip.
“Here we are, thank God, enjoying ourselves. Well, I want to tell Mrs. Licha from the grocery store that I’m going to pay her for another week because unfortunately I don’t have any money right now. I’m here because my friends invited me. Thank you very much. Regards,” he declared with apparent calm.

The curious thing about the case is that he even admitted that he was riding a motorcycle with a reserve of fuel.
“It doesn’t matter that we start the year owing everyone something to do because we’re having fun. There we are, look at the bike talking on the back burner, but we’re there, we’re there, you know what I mean,” he said, laughing.

The young man also remained mysterious, avoiding revealing his identity for fear of being recognized: “I can’t give you my name because I’m very sought after and elegant, do you understand? You’re not going to get to that guy,” he added.
The video caused a stir on social media , where many criticised his lack of responsibility, while others took it with humour. For her part, Mrs. Licha still hopes that the young man honours his debt and returns what he owes her.
