A curious video became a trending topic on TikTok after a couple was captured getting out of a vehicle outside a well-known motel in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras.
What has caught attention is not the visit to the establishment, but the peculiar scene: the man is carrying his girlfriend’s purse, while she is holding a bouquet of flowers.
The clip, which has since been deleted, showed the couple calmly making their way to the motel entrance, with the young man confidently holding his lover’s handbag.
The man’s relaxed attitude and chivalrous gesture have divided opinions on social media, generating a debate about gender roles and chivalry.
“That’s good brotherly love”, “He left with the flowers”, “How envious” are some of the messages.
The video had accumulated more than 80 thousand views; however, the user who posted the recording, identified as Erling Estrada, deleted it after more than a day of having it on the Chinese platform.
