According to sources, she was seized from her home in Somolu early on Friday after her brother was apprehended and used as a lure.
Abiodun was moved to the State Command in Ikeja after her detention, and her brother was freed.
Abiodun has earlier expressed worries about being singled out by the Force’s PR officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, because of her involvement with the 2024 #EndSARS monument and her vocal opposition to police abuse.
She accused Adejobi of planning her arrest without a formal invitation or proof of a crime, and she said that officers had harassed and threatened her.
