In the last few hours, Ricardo Gareca, the Argentine coach, has become a trending topic on social media after being discovered in Buenos Aires undergoing a DNA test to determine if he is the father of another 40-year-old daughter.
Gareca gave his statement after undergoing the test “I was there, she wasn’t. That’s all I can say, nothing more. You know that I have commitments there in Santiago de Chile,” were the first statements of the former Vélez coach.
It should be noted that this is not the first time that a case similar to the current one has occurred, since a few months ago El Tigre, as he is nicknamed by the national team, went through a very similar moment, however, the case ended up being different. Apparently the coach had another daughter named Fiorella.

Ricardo Gareca, the famous football coach, is married to Maria Isabel “Mabel” Gareca. They met in 1985, when Ricardo was playing for the Independiente Santa Fe club in Colombia and Mabel was a university student in Bogota.
Ricardo Gareca is the father of three children from his marriage to Gladys Hartintegui. Biography of Ricardo Gareca
Ricardo Alberto Gareca Nardi, known as “El Tigre”, was born on February 10, 1958 in Tapiales, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a former footballer and current football coach.
Playing career: Gareca began his career at Boca Juniors in 1978, where he excelled as a forward. He also played for clubs such as Sarmiento de Junín, River Plate, América de Cali and Vélez Sarsfield. With Vélez Sarsfield, he won the Supercopa Sudamericana in 1994 and retired as a player in 1994.
