“Learning to wash by hand taught me to be more grateful”: a gringa recounts her experience living in Honduras with her Honduran husband.

“I left behind many comforts in the United States , one of them being the ability to wash clothes in a washing machine and dryer. When I arrived in Honduras, my husband taught me how to wash by hand, and the truth is that it was a wonderful experience,” said the young woman.

Marin said that this experience allowed her to appreciate what she had more and helped her to be more grateful for the little things. “It taught me to value and be grateful for the things I already had,” she said in the video.
