Juliana Duque has made the decision to post a video of her version of events on social media. The victim has been in an abusive relationship since 2022 with her first boyfriend, who treated her like an object and exerted severe psychological control over her. “They threatened me, they told me that I was worthless for not wanting to have relations with him, and that he would leave me if I didn’t, because other ‘prettier’ girls did,” she explains.

“It’s totally different and it was extremely disgusting, as you can see in the screenshots,” she says. She also notes that a significant portion of the videos that are making the rounds on social media are not of her at all, but rather of other girls who are also being unfairly disparaged.
The matter is made worse when someone who was widely assumed to be innocent but actually had a direct hand in the video leak is brought up. “The person we all believe to be guilty swears and swears that it is not her, that it was someone else ,” says the young woman, revealing the complex dynamics of manipulation that continue to affect her life.

The victim has gone through an emotional ordeal for the past three years, filled with humiliation, threats, and ongoing fear. However, in her message, the young woman expresses that she finally feels free.
“In a way I feel liberated, because living with that agony for three years was too hard for me,” she says. Due to her age at the time of the recordings, the young woman was unable to legally give her consent, so she chose to file a lawsuit after the video was leaked.
The young woman ends her message with a thought-provoking statement: “Before passing judgment on others, consider the underlying causes of everything, consider how a manipulative person can cause you pain, who injures you physically and psychologically.”
His remarks encourage people to consider the harm that can result from legal actions and the unauthorized distribution of private information.
