At 27 years old, the death of Carol Acosta , better known as Killadamente , a content creator from the Dominican Republic, was confirmed this Saturday .
The influencer had more than 6.5 million followers on Instagram, a social network where she gained popularity thanks to her content defending ‘plus size’ people , that is, large sizes.
Carol was the mother of two little ones , Reina , who was born in 2020, and Legend , who came into the world in 2022.
One of her most popular videos was posted on December 3, 2017, and features her shaving her hair in support of one of her followers, who wrote to her that at 12 years old she was fighting cancer.
” Hair doesn’t make us pretty! We are more than just physical! Let’s get it done!” she wrote at the time.
What did Killadamente die of?
According to initial information provided by her sister, the young woman was having dinner on January 3 when she got choked and, despite being helped, died.
Meanwhile, her cousin @IamSharny confirmed her death on her Instagram statuses, where she also shares beauty and self-love content.
” It feels so bad to lose a family member that you love with all your being, but I know that you are in a better place with our father Jesus Christ,” she wrote alongside a photo of her.
At the moment, no further details are known about the news that has shocked Internet users, who have commented on Killadamente’s latest post on January 2.
