Televicentro presenter Laura Meza sent a message full of emotion and affection to Motagua striker Rodrigo Auzmendi after the victory against Real España that secured them a place in the grand final of Honduran soccer.
During the program “Con Todo” on Channel 5, the journalist could not hide her joy and dedicated some special words to the player.
“I congratulate Fútbol Club Motagua for reaching the final, a team full of discipline and effort, especially for Rodrigo Auzmendi,” he said with a smile that did not go unnoticed.
The moment, which has already gone viral on social media, took an unexpected turn when her teammate Erik Chavarría jokingly asked her to look at the player, who was apparently on the set.
Laura’s reaction was immediate: she blushed, showing a nervous expression that revealed her feelings for the blue attacker.
The brother ‘burned’ them!
Although neither Auzmendi nor Meza have publicly confirmed their relationship, this gesture by the presenter has been interpreted as a clear sign of the special support she has for the forward.
Laura’s words gained even more force hours later, when the player’s brother, Agustín Auzmendi, finished “burning” them in an interview by saying:
“Greetings to Rodrigo and his girlfriend Laura , who are there,” a comment that, amid laughter, exposed what until then was only a rumor.
Change of shirt?
The detail that has drawn the most attention among fans is that Laura has, in the past, been seen supporting Olimpia, the current Honduran soccer champion.
However, her recent congratulations to Motagua and, in particular, to Rodrigo Auzmendi, suggest a change of colours in the presenter’s heart.
