In the last few hours, Santo Domingo metro authorities arrested the famous Mexican YouTuber and blogger, Luis Arturo Villar Sudek, better known as Luisito Comunica, for recording without authorization within the transportation system’s facilities.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, you can see the moment when Luisito is intercepted by agents of the Specialized Corps for Metro Security (Cesmet).
The video, which quickly went viral, was posted on Alerta Mundial’s X (ex-Twitter) account.
In the clip, Luisito is seen escorted by at least three police officers on the Santo Domingo subway.
The video was recorded by a witness of the incident, who recognized the YouTuber and filmed the sequence with his cell phone.

Witnesses to the arrest of Luisito Comunica in the Santo Domingo Metro, Dominican Republic, said that the reason for his arrest by the police was for recording videos for commercial purposes without permission from local authorities.
Santo Domingo laws are very strict regarding what can be done on the Metro and they pay attention to anything that disrupts the order of the passengers.
To generate content like that which Luisito Comunica usually does, it is necessary to obtain permission in advance.
“The making, taking, recording, etc. of images and sound in the facilities of the Santo Domingo Metro and Cable Car for non-personal purposes is prohibited, except with written authorization from the Transport Entity.”
“This authorization must be shown to any employee of the Transport Entity who requests it,” says the User Manual for the Santo Domingo Metro and Cable Car Services.
