After being put on leave and then resigning because of her participation with an OnlyF account, Brianna Coppage, a former teacher at St. Clair High School, is speaking out a few weeks later.
In September, FOX 2 first revealed Coppage’s departure, stating that she seemed to be using her teaching salary as additional revenue. She has worked as a cheering coach and an English teacher in the past.
Coppage said that her OnlyFans account brought in about $1 million in revenue in a recent digital story published by FOX News. She stressed that she only managed the account in her own time and that it had nothing to do with her official duties as a school district employee.
started it, one, to supplement my income, see what happens, and possibly make extra money,” Coppage explained to FOX News. “I have student loans. I was working on my third degree. I have a master’s degree in education and was also working on my special-ed degree.”
She continued, “Teachers typically pursue further education because it advances us on the salary schedule, allowing us to earn more with an advanced degree. That was one of the motivations there. It was definitely not completely financially motivated, but it was a significant factor.”
Despite her resignation, Coppage expressed no regrets over her decision. She asserted that individuals should have the freedom to separate their personal lives from their professional careers.
“It’s okay for people to be different and have different beliefs,” Coppage stated. “I’m not here to convince someone who thinks that this is wrong that this is okay. But I just think if we all gave each other a little bit more grace and accepted that people are different, maybe the world would be a better place.”
Coppage clarified to FOX News that she never discussed or alluded to the account with students. The discovery was not made by students but rather by a group of adults who shared a link to her OnlyFans account in a community group.
