Actress Pragya Nagra, a prominent name in the Malayalam industry is currently making headlines after her alleged private video was leaked on social media. Reportedly, the video shows her in a compromising position. While Pragya has not yet released an official statement addressing the matter, the source and circumstances of the leak remain unknown.
The incident raises concerns about the privacy of social media influencers, especially as, in recent days, several private videos of Pakistani influencers and TikTokers have also surfaced online. While some have accused these influencers of leaking their own videos for fame, others are calling it a publicity stunt.
Meanwhile, the recent string of private videos getting leaked online started with social media influencer Minahil Malik in October 2024. In response, she claimed that the video was “fake” and lodged a complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
After which, Pakistani actress-singer Mishi Khan had accused Minahil of leaking her video for publicity. Mishi also drew a parallel to Kareena Kapoor Khan’s film Heroine, where a similar scandal was portrayed.
After Minahil Malik, the list of social media personalities whose alleged private videos were leaked online includes Kanwal Aftab, Mathira Mohammad, Imsha Rehman, and Maryam Faisal.
On the work front, Pragya was last seen in the Telugu film Laggam, which also starred several actors including Sai Ronak, Rajendra Prasad, Pragya Nagra, Rohini, Vadlamani Srinivas, Raghu Babu, LB Sriram, Saptagiri, Krishnudu, and Raccha Ravi, among others.
The film was released in October 2024.
Pragya made her debut with the Tamil film Varaluru Mukkiyum in 2022. Later in 2023, she did the Malayalam film Nadhikalil Sundari Yamuna.
