Man Found Dead Inside Taxi There Were Bottles of Alcohol
The man’s body was in the back seat of the vehicle, surrounded by several bottles of alcohol.
A taxi driver was found dead inside his vehicle at noon on Monday in the La Isla neighborhood of La Ceiba, Atlántida, in northern Honduras.
The man’s body was in the back seat of the unit with registration 0465, with the windows completely closed and parked on the side of the street.
The neighbors were the ones who saw that the taxi had not moved for several hours and became concerned and decided to call the National Police authorities in the area.
Initially, it was suspected that the death of the taxi driver of the woman known as the ‘Bride of Honduras’ had been violent ; however, the officers who arrived at the scene ruled this out.
According to statements made by the PN commissioner, José Rolando Benítez , to Más Noticias Televisión , the family explained that the taxi driver ” went out for a ride last night and did not return .”
” Apparently he had a stroke or was intoxicated (by alcohol) because he has the drinks there and these are issues that have occurred,” he explained after the discovery near the so-called ‘living zone’.

The relatives who were there identified him only by the name of Edwar ; they also took his body to wake him and then give him a holy burial in his birthplace.
Young mother dies from alcohol poisoning

The young woman, identified as Glenda Velásquez , had been drinking all New Year’s Eve, that is, December 31, 2024, due to an alleged disappointment in love.
It was not until the next morning that the relatives of the mother of a child of barely one year old found her dead from alcohol poisoning.
