A mother who works as a street vendor shared a heartbreaking story that shocked social media users .
In a testimony broadcast on TikTok , she recounted how she discovered that her daughter , barely 16 years old, was in a romantic relationship with her partner, a man she had fully trusted for years.
The woman said that since she was 16 she has been selling empanadas and cakes on the streets to support her daughter, who she considers the centre of her life. Everything changed when, upon returning from a work trip, she found her partner and her daughter lying in her bed in their underwear.
The scene left her paralyzed and speechless: “I will never forget that scene. I entered my house believing that everything was fine and I found the two of them in my bed, dressed only in underwear. It was as if the world had stopped.”

After days of uncertainty, the daughter and her partner confessed that they were in love and planned to live together once the young woman came of age. In addition, they revealed that the minor was pregnant , news that devastated the mother even more.
“It was like my world was falling apart. That man, who I had planned to start a family with, is now going to be the father of my grandchild,” she shared with pain. The young woman moved in with the man shortly after, leaving the mother to deal with a whirlwind of emotions and questions.

They encourage reporting
The situation sparked a debate between those who advise the mother to take legal action against the man, arguing that she is a minor who could have been manipulated, and those who stress the importance of seeking psychological support to rebuild the relationship with her daughter.
“They tell me to report it, but I don’t know how to do it or how to talk to my daughter. I feel like I lost her,” confessed the mother , who says she feels alone and without tools to face this complex situation.
“I never imagined that someone I trusted so much could betray me like this. My daughter was everything to me, and now I feel like I’ve lost her. I don’t know how to deal with this or how to rebuild what we had,” she added.
Several comments on the video show support for the woman, indicating that she is not guilty of anything and that she should prioritize reporting her ex-partner.
“What are you waiting for to call the police on children and adolescents?”, “He manipulated her, she was a child”, “Friend, let her take responsibility for all her decisions. The wisest thing is for you to walk away and not intervene. The wisest thing for us as parents is to let her do everything she will regret later” are some of the messages.

911 National Emergency System: In case of emergency outside of 110 Line hours, you can call 911, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Line 114: The National Police has this line to respond to complaints related to gender violence and child abuse. Upon receiving a complaint, they are mobilized to provide protection and assistance to the victim.
