Motorcyclists Assault Driver in Tegucigalpa Neighborhood

On Thursday morning, the driver of a delivery truck was the victim of an armed robbery carried out by two motorcyclists in the San Miguel neighborhood of Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras.
Security cameras recorded the exact moment when one of the motorcyclists got in the way of the delivery man, right in one of the alleys of that populous neighborhood in the capital.
A few seconds later, the thief gets off the motorcycle, while his accomplice arrives at the scene and stands in front of the driver’s window.
Suddenly, he touches the window and, with a gun in his hand, threatens him to give the money earned during the work day to his partner in crime.
According to the security camera video, the assault occurred at exactly 9:47 in the morning , taking advantage of the fact that at that moment no one was passing by on the busy street.
The identity of the “thieves” is still unknown, but the clip has been released in the hope of locating them and also to alert residents of the capital’s neighborhood about criminal activities.
Robberies in the San Miguel neighborhood of Tegucigalpa
This is not the first time that residents of the capital’s populous neighborhood have reported assaults and robberies being committed at all hours of the day.
A video shows a woman riding on the back of a motorcycle stealing the rearview mirrors of parked vehicles.
“Look, buddy, that was exactly at 3:11 in the morning . She’s a woman, and they’re wearing balaclavas ,” the man who recorded the short-length graphic material with his security cameras on February 5, 2025 is heard saying.
Neither the woman nor her accomplice have been identified so far, so it is unknown whether they continue to commit these types of robberies.
