Natalia Melman , a 15-year-old girl, was murdered and raped by a group of police officers in Miramar more than 23 years ago. According to the autopsy , she died due to asphyxiation by strangulation with the lace of her own shoe.
In the last few hours, the judges in charge of the case granted temporary release to Ricardo Anselmini , one of those convicted of Melman’s death in September 2002, as co-author of multiple crimes.

Melman’s autopsy revealed harrowing details about her murder. The report detailed that five different genetic profiles were found, confirming that she was tortured and raped before being suffocated with her shoelace, which was tied around her neck in a double knot.
He also revealed that Natalia had bruises on her thighs, cigarette burns on her left hand, a broken septum and a strong blow to the skull.
According to the expert report, Natalia’s body appeared on February 8 , buried under several dry leaves in the “Florentino Ameghino” nursery. It is presumed that it was dumped there on the same day of the crime.

The tragic death of Natalia Mariel Melman occurred on February 4, 2001 , when she was returning home around 7:00 am after dancing in the town of Miramar, when a group of police officers interrupted her.
One of them beat her and forced her into a police car, then took her to a precarious house in the Copacabana neighborhood, on the outskirts of the city, where she was tortured, raped and suffocated. It is a case that continues to leave a deep mark on society and is still remembered for the brutality of the crime.
