Addressing Syria, Netanyahu stated he has instructed the Israel Defense Forces “to thwart potential threats from Syria and to prevent terrorist elements from taking over near our border.”
He pointed out that “arms supply routes from Syria to Hezbollah” have been disrupted and “capabilities that the Assad regime had built over decades” destroyed by IDF airstrikes.
Netanyahu promised to keep attacking Hezbollah while highlighting that Israel has “no interest in confronting Syria.” He declared that “we will continue to act as much as necessary, in every arena, and at any time.”
