Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stresses that Ukraine urgently needs more weapons, long-range capabilities and tougher sanctions against Russia.
According to a Telegram post by Mr. Shmygal, Russia has committed a new barbaric terrorist act by attacking peaceful Ukrainian cities and villages with missiles and drones. The affected areas are Kyiv and the Kyiv region, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi and Sumy.
“Unfortunately, there are victims, civilians have died, including children,” the prime minister noted.
In the face of this violence, the Ukrainian Prime Minister called on allied countries for “more weapons, long-range capabilities and tougher sanctions against the enemy, this is what Ukraine needs right now for the security of its citizens, for the security of Europe and to achieve a just peace.”
