Former Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar (32) has once again drawn attention to himself with his anti-PSG social media activity, this time taking aim at current PSG forward Ousmane Dembélé (26), reports Foot Mercato.
This isn’t the first time the Brazilian has used social media to subtly criticise his former club, previously taking aim at Kylian Mbappé and what he perceives to be the preferential treatment the Frenchman receives from the Parisian hierarchy.
The post in question originates from a Brazilian Neymar fan account and mocks winger Dembélé’s struggles in front of goal this season, the Frenchman having scored just one goal for the club compared to Neymar’s two, the latter having left for Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal in August. The Brazilian replied with a laugh react emoji, perhaps forgetting that his two strikes for Luis Enrique’s side came in pre-season.
Dembélé has ten assists in all competitions this campaign, suggesting his impact in PSG’s attacking play may be one of a creator and not a goalscorer.
Neymar is currently recovering from a cruciate ligament injury sustained in October, curtailing his involvement in Al-Hilal’s season that has seen them establish a seven point league at the top of the table.
