Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s son has been arrested on suspicion of rape. 27-year-old Marius Borg Høiby allegedly raped a woman in her 20s.
The victim would have been unconscious or unable to resist. So reports the Norwegian police. The woman did not report the crime herself, but police launched an investigation based on information from an ongoing case.
The arrest took place Monday evening in Oslo. The royal family’s security service confirmed his arrest, but said nothing about the reason.
