  According to The Telegraph, the Red Dragons may soon find themselves fielding player requests from the second tier. It is claimed that wing-back Ryan Barnett, who has been in impressive form when posting a number of assists this season, is catching the eye of Stoke and Preston.

  WHAT NEXT FOR WREXHAM?

  Barnett has helped Wrexham to back-to-back promotions, having joined them from Solihull Moors in February 2023, and is said to have seen his contract in North Wales extended. He may be happy to shun interest from the likes of Stoke and Preston as Phil Parkinson is looking to guide the Red Dragons towards the Championship – as they currently sit second in the League One table.
