According to tradition, offerings can be placed starting on October 26, in anticipation of the arrival of the souls of the pets the following day.
This moment is sacred, as it also precedes the arrival of the spirits of people who died tragically or accidentally . Thus, the atmosphere is filled with a sense of commemoration and respect for all the lives that have left a mark.
It is important to remember that the Catholic calendar establishes November 1 as All Saints’ Day, dedicated to the souls of deceased children. The following day, November 2, is All Souls’ Day, where all adults who have passed away are remembered.
