An auxiliary nurse named Edima was the young woman who was brutally murdered in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State by her boyfriend. The woman was killed, and the suspect—simply named Elisha—allegedly hacked her body to pieces. The event took place in a home in the Uyo metropolitan area along Atiku Abubakar Way. ASP Timfon John, a spokesperson for the State Police Command, confirmed the occurrence and stated that an inquiry into the murder has been started. She continued, “The matter will be resolved in the coming days. The suspect has been taken into custody, and the command has already started an investigation into the murder.”
