Police Hiring: PSC Notifies Selected Candidates of Their Training Date
The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced that training for successful candidates in the 2022 recruitment of constables into the Nigeria Police Force will commence on April 12, 2025.
Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Press and Public Relations at the PSC, confirmed that candidates who participated in the medical screening from February 26 to March 12, 2025, can now check their application status and print their Training Call-up Slips on the recruitment portal at [https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng]. The portal will open on March 31, 2025.
Successful candidates are required to report to their designated Police Training Institutions for documentation between April 12 and 19, 2025. Failure to report within the timeframe will result in the forfeiture of the offer.
Candidates must bring their Training Call-up Slip, Application Form Submission Slip, NIN Slip, BVN Slip, original and photocopies of certificates and credentials, as well as any additional documents listed on the portal. They should report in a clean white T-shirt and shorts.
DIG Hashimu Argungu, Chairman of the Police Service Commission, congratulated the candidates and urged them to embrace President Bola Tinubu’s vision of a capable Police Force.
He also noted that the recruitment process follows a merit-based, equitable approach in line with Federal Character policy.
