Singer Raphael, admitted to the Clínico hospital in Madrid on Tuesday afternoon, is “well” and is undergoing several tests, sources from RLM, his representative office, confirmed to Gurutrends, explaining that the artist appears to have suffered a “transient” episode.
The same sources reported that the singer will undergo further tests on Wednesday to “rule out anything”, and insisted that those close to the artist are “very calm” and that what happened was “temporary”.
Raphael was taken to the Clínico on Tuesday afternoon in an ambulance from the Teatro Príncipe, where he was filming the Christmas special of the TVE programme “La Revuelta”. During the filming he felt unwell and was treated by the emergency services.
Sources from the Madrid Emergency Department reported that at around 7:30 p.m. they had treated a man in his eighties for a cerebrovascular event at the Teatro Príncipe Gran Vía, where “La Revuelta” is being filmed, and he was evacuated with a reserved prognosis.
Sources from TVE confirmed to Gurutrends that it was the singer Raphael, who was recording the special Christmas programme of ‘La Revuelta’ when he began to feel ill and an ambulance was called.
The singer got into the ambulance on his own, according to those sources.
The representative office told Gurutrends tonight that they are “positive” about the singer’s recovery after this afternoon’s scare.
Raphael has already been seen by a neurologist and has undergone several tests. He will remain in hospital to continue with further tests on Wednesday, they said.
According to health sources, Raphael’s family did not want to give details about his progress on Tuesday and hopes to be able to provide information on Wednesday.
