As time goes by, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine intensifies. On Tuesday, November 26, kyiv announced that the country had been targeted by a record attack by Russian drones.
In the midst of the escalation, Russian armed forces launched 188 combat drones towards kyiv, damaging “critical infrastructure”, residential buildings and causing major power outages across the country.
Ukraine managed to shoot down 76 drones between Monday night and Tuesday noon, although local air defense systems are struggling to keep up with the relentless pace of Russian attacks. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russians also fired four Iskander-M ballistic missiles towards the capital.
Fortunately, the attack did not cause any casualties.
