WHAT HAPPENED?
USMNT and Monaco forward Folarin Balogun is reportedly set to be sidelined for two months, missing the November Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals as a result.
In a 2-1 victory over Rennes on Oct. 5, Balogun was in fine form, scoring the eventual game-winner just 22 minutes into the clash. However, late in the second half, he was removed from the pitch with a shoulder injury after a collision with Rennes’ Leo Ostigard.
L’EQUIPE now reports that the extent of that shoulder injury will sideline him into December.
