WHAT HAPPENED?

There has been plenty of speculation regarding Manchester City defender Walker and his relationship with long-term partner Kilner supposedly breaking down. Divorce proceedings are said to be in the pipeline, with the England international potentially having to part with around half of his £27 million ($35m) fortune.

    DID YOU KNOW?

Walker is paying the price for “idiot choices” that saw him father two children with ex-mistress and former Love Island star Goodman. She has been making revelations in public on a regular basis, leading Kilner to mull over her options.

    WHAT A SOURCE SAID

There is now talk of Walker heading to the Middle East, as game time at City becomes limited, and a source has told OK! of the benefits to such a move: “Kyle is set to be signed by a Saudi team at the end of next season and if he goes, Annie and the boys will join him. They both feel it could be the fresh start they need to give their marriage another go as they can ignore Lauryn even more.”

    THE GOSSIP

The source added on the current situation when it comes to Walker and Kilner: “Despite filing for divorce, Annie and Kyle are still living together and she’s not sure she is going to go through with it. They are still working on their future but Annie needs to make sure her and the boys are financially secure with any eventuality and they are determined to remain on good terms for the sake of their children.”

    WHAT NEXT?

If Walker were to move to the Saudi Pro League, with his City deal due to run until 2026, then he would land a lucrative contract. The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Sadio Mane are already turning out in that division – along with Walker’s former team-mates Aymeric Laporte and Riyad Mahrez.
