Senegal’s former PM Ba concedes defeat in presidential election

Senegal’s former Prime Minister Amadou Ba has congratulated rival opposition candidate Bassirou Diomaye Faye for winning the presidential election.

The ruling coalition candidate Ba conceded defeat on Monday, a campaign statement said.
