Images of a student fainting and convulsing after a fight with his classmate have been spread through social media .
In the video, two teenagers aged 13 and 14 argue while a group of classmates surround them, encouraging the confrontation in the Progreso neighbourhood, in Brumadinho, Brazil.
The situation quickly escalated into a physical fight that ended when the older teen fell to the ground , hitting his head and suffering a seizure .
The minor, whose name is unknown, was immediately transferred to a local hospital, where he received medical attention and was discharged on the same day (October 23, 2024).
The city council confirmed that the teenager has resumed his school activities and is in good health.
However, the video has gone viral with rumors about the alleged death of the minor , which was denied by the Brazilian authorities.
In light of this, the Civil Police of Minas Gerais (PCMG) is investigating the fight resulting from bullying. The Civil Police Station of Brumadinho is in charge of the case to determine the possible commission of an infraction similar to the crime of bullying.
