Sergio Gustavo Andrade young , was a talented music producer who in his time achieved fame being the best Veracruz producer in Mexico, however, his story took an unexpected turn.
Since he was involved in crimes of kidnapping, rape and corruption of a minor, along with Gloria Trevi and Mary Boquitas, called “Clan Andrade” . The young music producer was born on November 25, 1955 in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico , his father is Eduardo Andrade Ahedo and his mother is Justina Sánchez Márquez.
Due to his dedication to his studies, he received a scholarship to study at the National Institute of Fine Arts, an institution that helped him to exploit his musical talent, and it is even known that between 1973 and 1978 he obtained third place in the national Yamaha competition for pianists.
Some achievements of Sergio Andrade
A young Sergio Andrade was beginning to make a name for himself in the music world thanks to his talent. Years after his participation in the national Yamaha contest, the Veracruz native surprised everyone by directing the Juguemos a Cantar festival, from which he released an album that managed to sell more than a million copies.
In 1982, the young musician Sergio Andrade conquered the OTI Festival by winning the Best Arranger award for the first time. As time went by, he began to gain notoriety on the popularity charts in Mexico thanks to ‘Suavemente’, a song performed by the singer Crystal, with whom he also had a romance, which was full of violence and infidelity.
A year later he became the most successful arranger, orchestra director and music producer in Mexico and in 1985, he formed the group Boquitas Pintadas, with Mary Boquitas, Claudia, Pilar Ramírez, Mónica Murr and Gloria Trevi as members.
As the singer became so popular, millions of young girls were looking to become a music star and turned to him through the young girls who were already in the mix.
The Andrade Clan
In the midst of all this success, the producer began to be involved in rumors that he, along with Mary Boquitas and Gloria Trevi, recruited minors to abuse them, a scandal that would later be baptized by the national media under the name of the Andrade Clan.
Following a complaint filed in March 1999 by Karina Yapor’s parents, Sergio Andrade and the members of the clan escape to Brazil, but some time later their arrest in the city of Rio de Janeiro is announced for the crimes of kidnapping, rape and corruption of a minor.
He was sentenced to 7 years and 10 months in prison , but a judge in Chihuahua decided to acquit him of the crime of corruption of minors and the Veracruz producer regained his freedom on March 23, 2005.
After leaving prison, the music producer took refuge in the world of literature and music, but unfortunately his artistic career was overshadowed by the Trevi-Andrade Clan scandal.
He wrote some books in and out of prison, in addition to forming a musical group, with which he released some singles independently, however, he no longer had the same popularity as before.
Sergio Andrade’s wives
In 1993 Sergio Andrade married Sonia Ríos, with whom he had two children, Sofia and Antonio. They divorced just 4 years later. There is speculation that they had another child and gave it to Sergio’s brother, Eduardo Andrade.
He then married Aline Hernández, it was one of his most controversial marriages because he married her when she was still a minor, who some time after separating revealed that he was a sadist, perverted, as well as an aggressor and abuser.
Sergio Andrade’s women
They are another scandal surrounding the now extinct artistic career of the producer, since he was in contact with most of them when they were barely minors and whom he met within the clan. It is said that the producer had affairs with 12 women, and even had children with some of them.
Marlene Calderón was one of the women with whom Sergio Andrade had a relationship and Marlene became pregnant with Víctor Isaac’s child. Marlene was invited to work with Gloria Trevi by Aline Hernández.
Karla and Karola de la Cuesta are two sisters who had an affair with the producer, and became pregnant two months apart. Karla is the mother of Valentina and Karola de Milton.
Sergio Andrade was romantically involved with singer Gloria Trevi and together they fathered Ana Dalay, the little girl who died mysteriously in Brazil just a few months after being born.
Maria Raquenel Portillo “Mary Boquitas” was also married to the musician, as was Aline Hernandez, but neither of them had children with him. Mary Boquitas was Sergio’s first victim.
Karina Yapor is the woman for whom Sergio Andrade would end up in jail, since she was the only one who spoke out about the abuse. She gave birth to the producer’s son in 1997, whom she would name Francisco Ariel.
It is rumored that Sergio Andrade currently lives in the city of Cuernavaca with Sonia Ríos and their children, and that they also support themselves financially from their properties and royalties from their songs.
