WHAT HAPPENED?

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Ramos is set to join Al-Orobah in the Saudi Pro League. The club earned promotion to the Saudi top flight this season and have also signed Cristian Tello to shore up their squad.

    Throughout the summer, there were persistent rumours about his next potential move after leaving Sevilla as a free agent, with some reports suggesting a strong interest from Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr. Ramos was linked with a move to Al-Nassr, but that transfer failed to materialise. There was also speculation about a move to the MLS – but these talks also fizzled out.
