A religious organization known as the “Soldiers of Christ” is accused of starving and beating a South Korean woman to death in Georgia; the mother of three suspects charged with her murder has been detained in connection with the case, according to authorities.
According to a news statement from the Gwinnett County Police Department, the victim, 33-year-old Seehe Cho, was only 70 pounds when she was found in the trunk of a car parked outside of the well-known South Korean spa Jeju Sauna in Duluth, which is about 25 miles north of Atlanta.
Two days after her body was found, police said six people were arrested and charged with felony murder, false imprisonment, tampering with evidence and concealing the death of another.

Six individuals, including 26-year-old Eric Hyun, Gawom Lee, 26-year-old Joonho Lee, 25-year-old Hyunji Lee, and 22-year-old Juoonhyum Lee, were detained following the initial inquiry last month. Police reported that one of the people detained is a 15-year-old. The child who has been charged as an adult is not identified by CNN.
The victim is thought to have been subjected to beatings and malnourishment for weeks,
