After days of uncertainty and an emergency hospitalization, Shin Fujiyama shares his experience and reveals how his recovery process continues. Will he return to his activities soon?

Renowned activist and philanthropist Shin Fujiyama reappeared on social media on Friday with a message of relief and gratitude after being admitted to a medical center following several days of illness.

Through a video shared on his digital platforms, Fujiyama explained the difficult health situation that kept him in bed for several days, even affecting other people in his immediate environment.

“Good morning, my people. Here I am outside drinking my first cup of coffee in a long time. I am finally feeling a little better, thanks for the encouraging messages. I have been sick since Sunday and went to the clinic twice,” he said.

“They ruled out influenza, malaria and dengue, and in the end they never knew what it was, they just said it was some virus. I was doubled over with body aches , headaches, everything exaggerated,” he added.

The Japanese philanthropist, known for his projects in favor of education in Honduras, mentioned that he was not the only one affected, since people in his close circle also presented similar symptoms, although with variations between each case.

“We all got sick with the same thing, although the symptoms were a little different for each person. But thanks to you, we are almost 100% healthy. I can’t run yet, but maybe by Monday,” he added in his message.

In the process of recovery

Fujiyama said he feels much better and thanked the messages of support he received during his convalescence. He said he has finally begun to resume his daily routine after several days of being bedridden.

“I can finally be smiling outside and not lying doubled over in bed. Until yesterday I was still in bed, but today I can walk a little and get back to my daily tasks. Thank you very much for your support. We are already getting better,” he concluded.
