T-Pain and Mark Zuckerberg have finally revealed what they were cooking up in the studio.

Shortly after the duo posted on social media that they were working on music together, a remake of the Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz classic “Get Low” under the moniker of Z-Pain has been uploaded to streaming services.

Zuckerberg confirmed on Instagram that the unlikely collaboration was real and added some context to their cover, which transforms the raunchy crunk anthem into a slow-tempo acoustic ballad which finds Zuckerberg hilariously singing lyrics like: “Shawty crunk, so fresh, so clean / Can she fuck? That question been harassing me.”

Alongside a throwback photo of him and his wife, as well as pictures of him working with T-Pain, the Facebook founder wrote: “‘Get Low’ was playing when I first met Priscilla at a college party, so every year we listen to it on our dating anniversary.

“This year I worked with @tpain on our own version of this lyrical masterpiece. Sound on for the track and also available on Spotify. Love you P.”

T-Pain added in the comments section: “Happy anniversary! Thanks for letting me be a part of this.”

Zuckerberg also revealed his wife’s reaction to the song on his Instagram Stories, with her describing the cover as “so romantic.”

She also said: “21 years later, I can’t get quite as low, but it brings back a lot of fun memories.”

Since the release of the track, T-Pain has been forced to defend his decision to work with Mark Zuckerberg after catching flak online.

In a video posted on Instagram, he hit back at his critics by saying: “Y’all don’t like it when people have fun. Y’all don’t like it when people do wholesome things, y’all don’t like it when people do stuff for their wives.

“But when I do songs with known drug dealers, when I do songs with actual murderers, when I do songs with known scammers, when I produced the songs with people bragging about all the bad shit they done in their life, that shit’s fire, that’s shit’s hard.”

The “Buy U A Drank” hitmaker continued: “When motherfuckers doing something good with their life, all of a sudden, I need to distance myself. Shut the hell up. It costs zero dollars to go outside and fucking look at birds. It costs zero dollars to go do that shit.”
