The first chapter of La Voz Urbana Catracha was full of surprises, one of them was the incredible prize for which the Honduran artists who qualify will compete and who will seek to become the next king or queen of the urban genre in Honduras.
The winner of the reality show will have the opportunity to open the concert of the rapper, composer and producer: Residente, on November 29 in Tegucigalpa, capital of Honduras.
In addition, the contestant will be able to produce an original song and video clip and will also receive a cash prize of 50,000 lempiras.

At the opening ceremony, the judges selected the top five contestants. They are:
- Gabriel Valladares ‘The one who sings beautifully’
- Fernando Nieto ‘Nando Coast’
- Eduardo Rodriguez ‘Z Boy’
- Angel Zuniga ‘The Promise’
- Mystery
In addition, the story of two of the participants was revealed, who moved Honduras. There was also a surprise for Nando Coast after his performance ended, and that is that the team from La Voz Urbana Catracha brought his family members so they could see him live.
This Sunday, ten other pre-qualified contestants will appear before the judges, trying to impress them with their talent so that they can position themselves among the qualifiers.
