There is a lot riding on this match as fifth-placed Roma want to boost their chances of qualifying for next season’s Champions League and Lazio, down in seventh, are aiming to play in Europe once again. The Giallorossi drew the reverse fixture 0-0 in Serie A last November but Lazio knocked them out of the Coppa Italia at the quarter-final stage in January and they will want revenge this time out.
After this 5pm league encounter on Saturday, Roma are away at AC Milan on Thursday in the first leg of their all-Italian Europa League quarter-final, whereas Lazio take on Salernitana on Friday in Serie A action.
